Costs & Licensing

Getting Started

To assist our mission of providing affordable accommodation to Jewish seniors, the cost of a Mosaic Living residence is dependent on your choice of village, the unit type (Standard, Premium or Superior), your age and personal circumstances. Our Village Managers can provide a comprehensive breakdown following an interview.

The level of finishes and amenities are consistent across our apartments, with the major variance between different unit types being size. Typical floorplans can be viewed here, and we invite you to make an appointment with our Village Managers if you’d like to arrange a tour.

Please refer to individual villages for cost and licensing information and feel free to make contact if you have further questions.

Our Villages

A home for your best life

Our village apartments are designed for independent living, so you can live according to your own needs and desires - without the hassle of maintaining your own property
or having to share your space.

Financial Assistance

In keeping with our mission and charitable community ethos, we provide financial assistance to approved and selected applicants who are in financial stress.

Around 10% of our village community receives some level of financial support in the form of rebate from our standard monthly rates. Spaces are limited, so qualified applicants may be placed on our waiting list for a suitable vacancy.

To apply for either type of financial assistance (rebate or full accommodation), a range of financial disclosure documents needs to be prepared and submitted to the Mosaic Living Board. For  more information on this process, please contact us.

Contact us
  • Can I smoke in my apartment or on the grounds?

No, residents or guests are not permitted to smoke anywhere on Mosaic Living grounds. We are a smoke free environment across all our villages.

  • What happens if a dispute arises?

We have a Complaints and Disputes Policy to guide any action required in the unlikely event of a dispute.

  • What happens when I can no longer live independently?

When residents are no longer able to live independently (without live-in support), the resident will need to relocate to a facility that can provide the support services required. We encourage all residents to make plans for future accommodation needs early in their residency at Mosaic Living.

  • Apart from my licence/maintenance fee, are there any extra costs associated with living in a Mosaic Living village?

Typically the only additional expenses residents incur include: electricity usage, telephone, Pay TV & Internet access (if required). A free, internet-connected computer & printer is available within each of our villages (except for Guilfoyle Gardens).

  • Is there a dining room within the village?

No. Residents prepare and cook meals in their own apartments.

  • Can I arrange newspaper and magazine deliveries to my apartment?

    Yes.
